And so it's the beginning of the end

Had a blast at Summer Registration as usual. Of course, it really sunk in that we're all seniors now. I just want to say that I couldn't have handpicked a better group of Senior OLs to have at that registration. As small as our class is and as different as we all are, I feel like the group of us who have done orientation each year are super close, and that is definitely one of the things I'm going to take with me after graduation. And my cabaret group was ridiculously awesome. So, here are some wonderful pictures (thanks Charles)... Because it was just so funny:
Paul: Are you pregnant?
Ashley: No.
Paul: Are you absolutely sure you're not pregnant?
Ashley: Uhh, pretty sure, yeah.
Paul: Do you wanna be?
FREEZE!

How's that class cheer go again? Oh yeah, WATCH US ROCK!

We're crazy. It works for us though.

Aww, seniors, look like you like each other.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the laughs. Love you all.

I decided I wanted to write in this, but then I realized I have nothing to say.

Oh well.

A Letter to Brooooce

Dear Bruce Springsteen,
You are not my favorite person right now. Nope. Cancelling the fall leg of the tour=unacceptable. I was looking forward to the rumored Wilkes-Barre (or MSG) show, and you have a very sad fan in NH. This better mean that you have a kickass new album in the works or something. I drove to Buffalo in an effing blizzard to see you, and you can't even return the favor by adding fall dates? Not okay.
Love, Heather

P.S. You're still my favorite.
P.P.S. I still absolutely adore every single one of your songs (Born in the USA being the exception...seriously).
P.P.P.S. I still love you more than pretty much anyone else, even though I've never met you and never will.

BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, still watching the Tony's, and I heard the opening chords of Totally Fucked, and I saw my boy.

Happy Tony Day

I LOVE the Tony's!

There's a preview for the Mamma Mia! movie on right now...it actually looks decent and true to the show, and the set looks exactly how I pictured it. And I like Meryl Streep, so that works.

I'm hoping In The Heights wins Best Musical. Guess we'll see.

I'm just waiting for the RENT tribute. I'm still super bummed that it's closing, but I guess it's probably time. I wish I could see it (on Broadway) one more time. And on a RENT note, Tamyra Gray's final perfomance as Mimi was today. I was blown away the first two times I saw her, and I wish her the best of luck. I'm also hoping the Spring Awakening cast does some sort of performance surprise thing (Blake Daniel would be a nice "special treat" right now). And while we're on the subject...

Spring Awakening + Grease=Hilarious.

Been helping the brother move for the last few days. Jenn and Ryan, I am very happy for you guys and I love your house and am looking forward to spending a LOT of time there when I'm in the area ;-)

OMG, Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths are presenting the award for Best Play...I can't wait for Equus. I seriously cannot wait. September, I think.

August: Osage County won. That's a shocker. Whoa, Tracy Letts just took a dig at the industry..."They did something unheard of and decided to produce an American play on Broadway with real theatre actors." Yikes.

Mandy Patinkin, what's with the beard?

Okay, RENT tribute time...
Anthony Rapp darling, you know I love you, but you need a haircut. But your vest is adorable. OMG ADAM KANTOR (sorry, I was distracted by the current cast)!
Adam Pascal looks amazing, and Taye Diggs has an adorable little bowtie. They're making me cry. Apparently they're also making Patti LuPone cry.
God, I love that show. Please don't leave me.

IN THE HEIGHTS WON! Yay. So, I haven't seen it, but I've wanted to for awhile, and I like the music, and I needed to cheer for Jeffrey Seller, the producer.

La La La

I'm in Enfield, and I want to not be here anymore.

Wisdom teeth are coming out tomorrow, which should totally add to the funness of being here.

Uh huh uh huh uh huh well fine
Not like it's even worth the time
But still you know you wanted more
Sorry, it won't change
Been there before
The thing that sucks, okay, for me
A thousand bucks I'm like scott-free
And I mean, please, that's all I need
Get real, okay
By now you know the score
You wanna laugh, it's too absurb
You start to ask, can't hear a word
You're gonna crash and burn
Right tell me more
They freak, or won't
You toe the line
You tell your soul "just kill some time"
Will it quit?
It will until they don't
They're not my home, not anymore
Not like they so were before
Still I'll split and they'll like well, who knows?
Uh huh…uh huh…uh huh…well, fine
Not like it’s even worth the time
But still, you know, you wanted more
Okay, so nothing’s changed
Heard that before
You wanna laugh, it’s too absurd
You start to ask, can’t hear a word
You want to crash and burn
Right, tell me more
You start to cave, you start to cry
You try to run, nowhere to hide
You want to crumble up, and close that
Just fuck it – right?
Enough, that’s it
You’ll still go on
Well, for a bit
Another day of utter shit
And then there were none
