Anyway, we got quite the snowstorm the other day. My Wednesday evening class was canceled on Tuesday afternoon, and on Tuesday I woke up with the news on, and NYC public schools had already been shut down for the next day. Good thing this snow actually amounted to something, unlike the previous "blizzard" we were supposed to get last weekend. By blizzard, apparently they meant a flurry in Brooklyn and rain in Manhattan. Anyway, we don't get a lot of snow here, so the city kind of shut down. But I put on my wonderful Wellingtons (best purchase ever), and trudged out onto my block to see what it looked like.
In other news...well, there's not much excitement. My apartment looks great. I scrubbed it down tonight. And it smells like a combination of patchouli, lavender, and cleaning products, which is nice. Classes are going well. I love school. Still love life in the city, of course.
I don't generally believe in New Year's resolutions, because I think it kind of sets people up for failure, but I told myself that I was going to get back into yoga, so I've been doing some of the yoga videos that my free on demand has, as well as some of the cardio videos. It's nice. My abs feel tight today, so that's a good thing.
Anyway, that's about all the excitement. I'm going to try to write more. I miss it, but I just feel like I don't have much to say anymore.
