Pilates and Beatniks

Pilates.
That's all I really need to say.
Let's just say that I'm getting my ass kicked twice a week these days, in the most wonderful way. But I'm better at it than I thought I'd be. I mean, today I had both of my hands and only one foot on the ground, while the other one was way in the air, and I didn't even fall. Impressive, I know. But I've decided that I much prefer Yoga, and I actually found a free yoga studio in Brooklyn, so I might keep that in mind. I think it would be a good way to relax (I find yoga incredibly relaxing) and meet people, which I will need to do.

Also, Dr. Mitchell let me borrow his Beat Generation boxed set. I'm really excited about it. It's a lot of spoken word stuff, poetry readings, and this really awesome interview with Kerouac that we listened to in class. I put it on my iTunes, and I'm really excited to listen to it.

Furthermore, Jeremy Gray '11 and I will soon be forming our presidential exploratory committee for the 2024 election. Get excited.
